BRI UNGANIA

Co-Owner | Director of Performance

Coach Bri is the founder of Bridge Performance, bringing over four years of coaching experience focused on helping athletes and everyday individuals unlock their full potential through structured, results-driven training. With a strong foundation in both science and real world competition, Coach Bri combines her dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition with hands-on experience to design programs that emphasize strength, conditioning, proper movement mechanics, and injury prevention. As a competitive hybrid athlete, she actively competes in Hyrox, triathlons, and marathons, and holds multiple state records in powerlifting, showing her versatility across strength and endurance disciplines. Coach Bri has also qualified and will compete in the Hyrox World Championships in Sweden in the summer of 2026! Her commitment to growth as both a coach and athlete drives her mission to help others build confidence, strength, and performance.

RYAN ESSIGMAN

Co-Owner | Head Soccer Coach

Coach Ryan is a dedicated coach and Co-Owner at Bridge Performance, where he brings together years of high-level playing and coaching experience to develop well-rounded, confident athletes. A former five-year NCAA Division II soccer player at Molloy University, Coach Ryan has also competed at the semiprofessional level in the EPSL, gaining valuable insight into the demands of elite competition. He currently serves as the Girls Technical Director at Kapper Soccer in Merrick, NY, where he specializes in building technically sound, confident players through structured, detail-oriented training. With a strong background in sport science and a bachelor’s degree in biology, Coach Ryan integrates performance training with a deep understanding of injury prevention and athletic development. He is in the process of completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, further enhancing his ability to help athletes improve performance, reduce injury risk, and reach their full potential.

PHILIP D'AGUANNO

Sports Performance & Baseball Coach

Coach Philip D’Aguanno draws from his experience as a Division II baseball player for Adelphi University as he specializes in developing speed, agility, and overall athletic performance in athletes of all levels, from youth to collegiate players, as well as adults seeking improved fitness. Coach Phil combines his academic background with hands-on experience to create structured, individualized training programs that emphasize proper technique, injury prevention, and long-term development. Coach Phil is known for his high-energy and detail oriented coaching style, he is committed to helping athletes build strength, confidence, and consistency.

  • B.A. in Sports Management with a minor in Coaching - Adelphi University

NICK UNGANIA

Head Baseball Coach

A newly graduated Division I centerfielder for The University of New Haven in the Northeast Conference, he has built his career on discipline, consistency, and a lifelong passion for the game. A product of Chaminade High School on Long Island, Coach Nick distinguished himself early on as one of the top athletes in his position, combining elite speed, defensive range, and a strong baseball IQ. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science while competing at the highest collegiate level, balancing academics and athletics with focus and determination. Now preparing to take the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam, he is poised to translate his on-field experience and training knowledge into the next phase of his career.
