BRI UNGANIA

Co-Owner | Director of Performance

Bri is the founder of Bridge Performance and brings over four years of coaching experience rooted in helping athletes unlock their full potential. As a competitive hybrid athlete, she actively competes in Hyrox, triathlons, and Marathons, and has held multiple state records in powerlifting. She has currently qualified to compete in the Hyrox World Championships in Sweden of 2026! Her commitment to growth as both a coach and athlete drives her mission to help others build confidence, strength, and performance — from athletes to everyday adults.

RYAN ESSIGMAN

Co-Owner | Head Soccer Coach

Ryan is a coach at Bridge Performance, combining years of high-level playing and coaching experience to develop well-rounded athletes. A former 5-year NCAA Division II soccer player at Molloy University and current Girls Technical Director at Kapper Soccer, Ryan specializes in building confident, technically skilled players. He also competed at the semiprofessional level in the EPSL, further deepening his understanding of what it takes to succeed at a high level. With a background in sport science and a nearly completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy, he helps athletes improve performance, prevent injury, and unlock their full potential.

PHILIP D'AGUANNO

Coach

Philip D’Aguanno, a former collegiate baseball player at Adelphi University, combines his athletic experience with a strong educational background in sport management and coaching. He works with both athletes and adults, helping them improve speed, strength, and overall fitness. Philip’s approach emphasizes proper technique, injury prevention, and building confidence through consistent training.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

  • Certified Functional Strength Coach (Level 1 & 2)

  • CPR / AED Certified

  • B.A. in Sports Management with a minor in Coaching - Adelphi University

WATSON BERREMAN

Coach

Watson is from Berkeley, CA, and has over 5 years of experience working in professional and collegiate sports as well as the military as a strength and conditioning coach. As a soccer player, he has played semi professionally in Greece, California, Washington, Boston, and still plays recreationally here on Long Island. He specializes in sport specific strength and conditioning and athletic development and values movements over maxes with a focus on intent and execution.
